And Im Back.....

After over a week of not updating my blog because of my extensive examination week that seems to never end 'sob' I can now dedicate myself to you! No more tension headache pills and chocolate to keep me going as it is summer diet time! Right now in Milan it is getting warmer and warmer after a bad winter and there is excited murmur in Marangoni of temperatures may even be reaching 26 degrees! Shame that the sea isn't anywhere close to Milan... maybe another day trip is in order soon! Also soon the Furniture design week is advancing upon us I will keep you posted about it soon!
Happy Chocolate Wednesday (an extremely heavy dose for me to get through the 40 question textiles exam today...)

The Looks I'm Digging Today

I like best outfits that look effortlessly cool, but you can never lay off the accessories...they are the best bit of a look that makes it individual, everyone can wear a black skirt and a white T  otherwise... now that would be boring.

A Brief Venetian Holiday

As a spur on the moment decision me and my friends went for a day trip to Venice as it's close to Milan! Waking up at 5.30 in the morning however was a downer as we had to catch the train early. The day was beautiful and mild as we left rainy Milan behind we didn't want to leave Venice! Only the other week it was Carnevale  so confetti was still flying around the streets like coloured sprinkles. One of the most beautiful cities in the world every little street I had something to photograph and you cant help but think what it was like living there hundreds of years ago with Gondola's floating all around. The buildings are just beautiful to look at as they are all different and coloured. We took Taxi boats all round the canals to have a better view of the city and was amazing even though I do have a fear of small boats so I was firmly gripping the rail behind my friends taking pictures trying not to freak out... Enjoy the pictures and make sure that you get to Venice in the near future!

All that I need

If my house was on fire what would I save? I would go straight to my jewellery box and take it, you see accessories and especially jewellery mean more to me than any other things in the world. I love how every individual piece has a story and a history of memories that will last forever.... To me people that accessorise heavily are probably the most interesting people to meet.

Making A Scene In The City

Today I am dreaming of summers in the city with jumpsuits, wedge heels and the clunking sound of lots of bangles. That is all.

No Style Crime Here...

With this post today I wanted to celebrate my sister for getting her work placement next year in London at a Law firm being a 'Personal Injury' Lawyer for her third year at University! To Celebrate this occasion I came across these images by Vogue Russia March 2011 issue..... Who would of ever of thought that Law and Fashion go together so well!? This editorial is full of intrigue and killer fashion looks you cant help but wonder what this story is all about? This is the first time I have come across an editorial with this theme of prosecution in court something really different that no other magazine has done before (to my knowledge) so a BIG well done to my sister Giulia and I hope to see her in court dressed like this or I will sue for style negligence...

Easy Look Wish List

Maxi skirts are everywhere and everyone is wearing one! So for my new wish list I found a potential that I might buy. This black skirt is from Miss Selfridge and is the nicest maxi plain skirt that I have found around online. Because I am so tall (5ft 10) normally these skirts are not very maxi on me so I will need to try it on. Looking through blogs I really like the trend of matching the maxi with big baggy jumpers and matching heels and accessories making the look more glam. Right now I am obsessed in finding a pair of wedge heels for the spring/ summer months. This pair from H&M might just do the job.... Pity that I am currently broke, but I will buy you all!! Eventually....'sigh'.

Hey Cupcake!

After a long day in being at school from 9:30 till 6:30 and having three exams I enjoyed my chocolate wednesday very much! I have to admit I did start researching my today's post images during my fashion buying class as it was presentation day so to kill my boredom I found these images of cupcake loving models by Ann He a photographer based in Dallas Texas. Right now I am loving the retro American backdrops in fashion photography don't ask me why but they are really fun and colourful.
Happy Chocolate Wednesday!
